The war on drugs has impacted the world in so many ways. It has cost the United States billions of dollars annualy and has now become the number one user of illegal drugs in the world. Millions of people have been impacted by the war on drugs and this fight will continue for decades more.




  1. Why is there still interest in it today, or why will there continue to be interest in it?
The war on drugs have been a topic of interest for many reasons. Because of millions affected by the world on drugs it has been researched and discussed by all of America. It will always occur if people continue to use illegal substances.



  1. Why are you interested in researching this topic?
I am interested in this topic because I have read books and wacth lots of movies and television that shows you the constant battle tha War on Drugs does to America and other countries.




  1. How do you personally connect with this topic?
I have family members who live near the boarders and have been impacted by the illegal smuggling that happens and it sparked my interest in this topic.

I think Interviews could be very helpful so I could sort of get a firsthand point of view of what it is like. Magazine articles will also have some very good information such as stories, more interviews, and how to get help.

There are so many different resources i can use for my project. Since te War on Drugs is such a big problem in the United States it has endless amounts of resources to choose from. I think magazines and films would be most useful to get the most information and good facts about this topic. These resources are both great for stories and getting real personal information.
